LSIS Education & Training Center Helps Customers with up-to-date Technologies through Systematic Theory and Practice.

We at LSIS have been training our customers with the same kind of equipment as that actually used at production facilities. We were the first in the industry to start programs for provision of technology training to customers.
Our training courses include factory automation and industrial electric / electronic technologies. Customers in pursuit of new ideas and possibilities in various areas of automation have found our technology consultations and instructions very informative and helpful.

Brief History

1989.12
LG Industrial System Technology Center was established in Osan.
1990.01
Technology training for customers was started.
1995.02
The Education & Training Center was opened in Cheongju.
1996.10
The Education & Training Center was designated as a qualified educational and
training facility by the Ministry of Labor.
1999.07
The Education & Training Center was designated as a qualified training facility for
teachers at technical high schools by the Ministry of Education.
2001.03
The e-Learning Center was opened.
2001.10
The e-Learning Center for Customers was opened.
2005.03
Renamed LS Industrial System Training Center
2001.11
Received the president's Award for an excellent center of Vocational Competency Development
2009.05
Designated a Lifelong Educational Institution affiliated with a factory

Policy of Human Resources Development & Figure of Human Resources

The company tries to approach the education and training of its employees from a long-term point of view and encourages all supervisor-level officers to regard it as one of their responsibilities to educate and train their immediate subordinate intensively, emphasizing that all these things must be done in an uninterrupted way.

In order to support the Company in efforts to achieve its goal, the Education & Training Center has set three main strategic issues of human resources : Recruiting & Development of global human resources, selection & development of core human resources, establishment of corporate culture with challenge & performance.

    Utilizing those who studied abroad and received master's and Ph.D. degrees
    Recruiting those who have finished a course of education in specific regions of the world.
  • Guidelines for education and training of existing employees
    Pool management of those with global experience and skills
    Giving opportunities to locally recruited employees with sufficient ability to hold a managerial position
    Fostering employees to be experts in specific regions of the world

Education & Training System

In order to support the Company in efforts to achieve its goal, the Education & Training Center operatesInstructional planning and Diagnosis system, Competency Development System, and Evaluation System. The Education & Training Center also sets its ultimate objective to improve individual QWL (Quality of Work Life)

Entrepreneurs Development System

The Education & Training Center provides required courses (aimed to help employees build up their core competency in business) and functional development courses (aimed to help them build up their professional skills)
